Bank HaPoalim on Sunday unveiled a new initiative to help small businesses compete with their larger counterparts.
The bank will offer small business owners membership in a "Poalim Business," a club that will give benefits for business lunches, gas, insurance, show tickets and more.
"The club is an innovative move that will help manage current operations of small and medium companies and save them on current expenditures," said Hapoalim director of marketing Strategy Hila Harmolin-Ronen.
Running a small business, she adds, involves substantial costs for employment, communications, insurance and office equipment. among other necessities. Small businesses don't have the same access to discounts that large ones can accrue because of their size.
The club's benefits will come through a series of collaborations, including a Sodexo RestoPass, which gives discounts to over 4,000 restaurants throughout the nation, a discount card offering cheaper fuel at Sonol stations and a 5% discount at the associated convenience stores, and membership at TapuzNet's bonus club for discounts to culture and recreational activities.
They will also get specially-priced insurance from Direct Insurance, and cash back from other participating partners.
