Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry Director-General Gavriel Maimon on Tuesday appointed an inter-ministerial committee to examine and bring order to the array of sources for aid to small businesses and submit its conclusions by December 1. Subjects to be studied by the panel include the relationship between the state, the small business authority and the entrepreneurship assistance centers, as well as alternative models for making small business support systems more effective. The committee will include representatives of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry; the Accountant General's Office and Budget Department in the Finance Ministry; and the Justice Ministry.
