Mishmar fires 700 workers

Mishmar, an Israeli cleaning, maintenance and security-services company, fired its 700 workers Wednesday and is closing down, CEO Yossi Liav said. He said clients owed Mishmar more than NIS 1 million and the banks would not extend his credit. Mishmar fired 800 workers in August. The employees who were fired Wednesday said they had not received their October salaries.
