HOT Mobile Ltd. and Golan Telecom Ltd. have reportedly recruited 15,000 to 20,000 subscribers since their launches earlier this week with low-cost, all-inclusive plans. Both carriers have received tens of thousands of inquiries from subscribers of the veteran carriers, they said.
Meanwhile, interest in the new mobile virtual network operators (MVNO), such as Rami Levy Communications Ltd. and Alon Cellular Ltd., has waned.
