As revealed by Walla Cars: Renault importer Frisbee announced the resumption of Kangoo imports to Israel after a four-year pause.

The Kangoo has been one of the most popular small vans in Israel since it arrived in the 1990s, but since 2021 its import was halted, and Citroën Berlingo and its twins—Toyota City, Fiat Doblo, and Opel Combo—took over the market. Since the beginning of the year, 4,232 units of the four models have been delivered in Israel, compared to 286 units of the Volkswagen Caddy. Thus, Berlingo and its counterparts, sold by three different importers, hold an extraordinary 95% market share.

The Kangoo is currently in its third generation, launched in 2020, based on a platform also used by the Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail, Renault Espace, and others. Its dimensions have grown to a length of 4.49 meters, width of 1.86 meters, height of 1.8 meters, and a wheelbase of 2.72 meters.

For comparison, the Berlingo and its counterparts offer 130 hp from the same engine capacity and an official fuel consumption of 17.2 km/L.
