The Hungarian airline Wizz Air has announced the launch of a new flight route from Israel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
The new route will begin operations on March 17, 2026, with five flights per week. This marks another addition to Wizz Air’s growing network of destinations from Israel.
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, has become a popular tourist destination in recent years thanks to its charming old town, relatively low prices compared to Western European countries, and its proximity to Vienna, Austria — only about an hour’s drive away.
The city offers a blend of historic architecture, rich culture, and diverse entertainment options, while remaining more affordable than many of Europe’s better-known capitals.
Wizz Air currently operates several routes from Israel to various European countries. The addition of Bratislava expands the airline’s destination map and offers another affordable flight option to Europe.
