We found a hotel that feels like abroad – just half an hour from the center

So instead of booking a flight, we decided to rediscover the local charm – a couples’ spa getaway at the David Tower Hotel in Netanya, part of Prima’s Lifestyle collection. The result? The hotel, located along Netanya’s coastline, is designed exclusively for adults (ages 16 and up) – a small detail that makes a big difference. From the moment we entered the lobby, we knew we were somewhere special: A delicate floral scent, soft music, and warm lighting that instantly created a sense of calm.

The design, crafted by designer Michael Azulay, combines classic European inspiration with touches from the East – clean lines alongside soft fabrics, subtle gold, and natural stone. Our room was spacious, featuring a large comfortable bed, a luxurious shower, and a balcony overlooking the sea. That view, where the sky and sea blend into one color, is simply addictive.

Most of our time was spent at the spa – a stunning complex considered one of the best in the country. To celebrate the autumn season, the hotel launched a new couples’ spa package called “A Two-Flavor Experience,” available exclusively for hotel guests.

The package includes a 45-minute couples’ treatment, a 15-minute traditional scrub in the authentic Turkish hammam, and two refreshing cocktails – all for NIS 990 per couple. The experience began with a soothing massage that brought a feeling of lightness and renewal, continued with the traditional scrub on the warm marble stone, and ended in a perfect moment of tranquility in the relaxation area – just us, the cocktails, and the sea in the background.

After the spa, we discovered that the pampering doesn’t stop at the treatment rooms. The heated indoor pool invited us for a calm swim, and the staff – attentive, pleasant, and precise – took care of every detail, from the robe to the coffee.

In the evening, we enjoyed a drink in the stylish lobby accompanied by gentle piano music. In the morning, a rich breakfast awaited us, with plenty of vegetables, cheeses, fresh pastries, and a blue sea view that carried the serenity right up to the last bite.
