The capital city receives a new prestigious addition with the opening of “The Theatre Hotel,” a five-star deluxe boutique hotel that belongs to Accor’s French M Gallery collection. The hotel, owned by the Jerusalem-based Hassid family, has opened to the public and brings to Jerusalem a new standard of design, culture, and hospitality.
The hotel is located in the heart of the picturesque Talbiya neighborhood, opposite the Jerusalem Theatre and close to the President’s Residence, the German Colony, and Emek Refaim. It blends authentic Jerusalem atmosphere with modern luxury and offers a full cultural experience – from collaborations with galleries and cultural institutions to local culinary offerings at the on-site chef restaurant.
The interior design, created by Ari Shaltiel, draws inspiration from the Jerusalem landscape and stone, combining classic elements in shades of white, gold, and brown. The hotel includes 73 rooms, among them three luxurious suites, a chef restaurant, a wine bar, meeting rooms, a spacious lobby, private seating areas, a luxury spa with Clarins treatments, a sauna, swimming pools for adults and children, a synagogue, and halls for private and business events.
According to Irit Daniel, the hotel’s general manager: “Our vision was to create a hotel that reflects Jerusalem’s heritage and combines international luxury with local charm. It is a one-of-a-kind hotel in Israel – located in one of the city’s most beautiful and quiet neighborhoods, within walking distance of Jerusalem’s cultural and entertainment centers.”
As part of its connection to the city and local spirit, the hotel will also launch this year the “Banu Choshech Legaresh 2025” Hanukkah Menorah Tour – a spectacular evening tour departing from the hotel into the alleys of the Old City, offering an intimate encounter with the Jerusalem Hanukkah atmosphere: glowing menorahs in the windows of homes, stories of the Maccabees, ancient traditions, and breathtaking viewpoints from the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. The tour will take place on December 15 and December 17 at 18:00 and will last approximately three hours.
Prices:
Midweek – starting at 990 ₪ per couple per night (first child in the parents’ room at no extra charge)
Weekends – starting at 1,390 ₪ including breakfast
Accommodation + Menorah Tour package: 1,290 ₪ per night per couple
Tour only with advance registration: 60 ₪ per person
My husband and I recently stayed at the hotel, and the experience left us with big smiles and a desire for more.
The hotel is impeccably clean and impressively maintained, located in a quiet area that allows for a relaxing stay.
It is carefully designed in a modern and clean style, and the rooms are simply stunning – spacious, quiet, and fully equipped with everything one might want: wine, water, fresh fruit, and indulgent cookies waiting for guests upon arrival.
The indoor pool is beautiful and inviting, the spa and gym areas are impressive, large, and well-kept, and the breakfast was exceptionally delicious and served at a high standard.
The service – courteous, attentive, and cheerful – completed a perfect experience. We enjoyed every moment.

Noy Hasade and “One in Nine” Association – Saving Lives Together!
Noy Hasade, Israel’s leading fruit and vegetable chain, has partnered with the "One in Nine" association – the long-standing and sole Israeli organization dedicated to breast cancer – to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and help save lives.
As part of the collaboration, the chain opened its website and app for a dedicated donation of only 15 ILS, directed to the association’s activities and support for women, survivors, and their families.
Each online order comes with a card featuring a QR code linking to an information page including a risk assessment questionnaire developed by Assuta – a personal call for customers to pause, check themselves, and take care of their health.
Within the company, involvement is broad: 160 Noy Hasade women received a personal kit including an explanation of the importance of early detection and a sweet pause of support and care.
Simultaneously, a message was shared with customers and employees: “Go get checked – it saves lives!”
The message is spread on the website, app, deliveries, and internal platforms, reflecting a deep belief that health comes first.
The donation product is available on Noy Hasade’s website and app, promoted on the homepage and the fruits and vegetables pages – to reach as many eyes, hearts, and hands contributing as possible.
Because a single moment of attention – can save lives.
And if you are already in the Jerusalem area, it’s worth taking a short drive to discover one of the most relaxing and pampering places around.
“Spa BaHar” – a private and luxurious spa experience in Giv'at Ze'ev
Just a short drive from Jerusalem, at 64 Avnei HaHoshen Street in Giv'at Ze'ev, you’ll find “Spa BaHar,” a charming boutique spa that offers an experience of quiet, luxury, and complete privacy – especially for the religious community and for anyone seeking true relaxation in an intimate atmosphere.
The uniqueness of the place lies in the fact that each area is rented entirely privately, so during the entire stay there are no other guests on site. The experience includes professional massages, full access to the spa facilities, and the option for indulgent upgrades such as breakfast, balloon arrangements, champagne, and more.
The place is especially suitable for couples seeking quality time, anniversaries, birthdays, or simply a short escape from daily routine. Every detail – from the design to the level of service – is carefully planned to create a luxurious and serene atmosphere.
I have to share that I spent a long time looking for a place that would allow me to enjoy a high-level spa without compromising on privacy – and “Spa BaHar” simply exceeded all expectations.
The space is large, clean, and intimate, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need: snacks and drinks at fair prices, along with a free coffee station and cookies. There is also a pleasant seating area that adds to the atmosphere.
What we loved most was the heated pool with jets on the side – a combination that feels like a pampering jacuzzi. The sauna was a real delight, especially in the cool weather outside. The breakfast was rich and indulgent, and the treatment room and massage were particularly impressive.
The entire staff made sure to provide a sense of calm, personal attention, and the feeling that the customer truly comes first.
It is truly a place that succeeds in combining modesty, privacy, quiet, and serenity with genuine pampering. Highly recommended!
