A small crossover at NIS 115,000 and a larger one with 7 seats at 180,000 NIS: Freesbe, Chery’s importer, is launching a series of new entry-level versions for its main models, with a discount of NIS 7,000 to NIS 16,000, and one model will be reduced by NIS 5,000.
Except for one model, the change only affects gasoline models whose demand has dropped in the market. The new entry-level versions also lose significant equipment items, but there is no change in the safety specifications. Additionally, the discount rate is lower than the dollar drop over the past year.
Tiggo 4 Pro: The small crossover in the manufacturer’s lineup gets a cheaper version for NIS 8,000 off the gasoline model, which will be sold for NIS 115,000. However, the specifications include 16-inch wheels instead of 18", no electric adjustment for the driver’s seat, no ambient lighting, no 360° camera, and non-dual-zone climate control between the driver and passenger. Other equipment reductions include a sunroof and electrically folding mirrors. The more popular hybrid model will not receive a discounted version and will continue to sell starting at NIS 136,000.
Chery FX: The family crossover also receives a cheaper gasoline version at NIS 5,000 off, priced at NIS 147,000. Equipment reductions include the sunroof, dual-zone climate control, surround cameras, wireless charging pad, heated front seats, and ambient lighting.
Arrizo 8 Plug-in: The relatively large family sedan received a NIS 16,000 discount and now costs NIS 160,000, coincidentally or not, exactly like the hybrid Toyota Corolla that recently returned to Israel. However, the specifications include 17-inch wheels instead of 18", no reversing camera, no wireless charging, no electric seat adjustment, and no sunroof.
Tiggo 8 Pro: The 7-seat crossover receives a gasoline model at NIS 180,000, a discount of NIS 10,000. However, the specification loses the electric trunk door and rear-seat air vents.
Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in: The base version of the popular plug-in hybrid gasoline model is reduced by NIS 5,000 to NIS 205,000, with no change in equipment.
