Good news for consumers in Rishon Lezion and the surrounding area: Fox Group and Mivne Group signed today (Monday) an agreement to open the first store of the “Jumbo Greece” brand in the city. The new branch, which will open in the second half of the year in the Mivne Bar-On shopping complex, will cover an area of more than 7,000 square meters.

The agreement was signed at the office of Mayor Raz Kinstlich, in the presence of Harel Wiesel, CEO and owner of Fox Group, and Uzi Levi, CEO of Mivne Group. As part of the long-term agreement, Fox Group will invest an estimated NIS 18 to NIS 24 million in establishing the branch. For the convenience of visitors, approximately 1,000 parking spaces will be available in the complex.

The new store will offer a wide variety of categories, including toys, stationery, household and decorative items, baby products, sports, clothing, and seasonal accessories. Alongside the exclusive Greek brand, international brands such as Barbie, Disney, Fisher-Price, and My Little Pony will be sold. The significant news is in the prices: more than 50% of the products in the chain are sold in a range between NIS 0.90 and NIS 9.90.

As of today, Fox operates four giant Jumbo Greece branches in Eilat, Haifa, Beersheba, and Netanya. The chain is preparing for significant acceleration with plans to open giant branches in Ashdod and Kfar Saba, as well as additional branches (with areas of 2,000 to 5,000 square meters) in Jerusalem, Nazareth, Karmiel, and Ashkelon. At the same time, the group holds the franchise to operate the chain in Canada, where the first store is expected to open this year in Toronto.

Harel Wiesel, CEO and owner of Fox Group: “The opening of the branch is another step in deepening the brand’s activity in Israel and reflects our confidence in the city’s commercial potential. We see this move as a long-term strategic investment and believe the branch will become a significant shopping hub.”

Raz Kinstlich, Mayor of Rishon Lezion, welcomed the move: “We are witnessing the fact that all the large and successful companies in the economy are moving to and arriving in Rishon Lezion, thanks to the city’s meteoric momentum. I would like to thank Harel Wiesel for the great expression of confidence.”
