Price reductions continue in the automotive sector. About six months after launching the large 7-seat Tiggo 9 Plug-In at NIS 245,000, Chery importer Frisby is now releasing a discounted model at NIS 218,000. This follows Calmobile, the Jacco importer, launching the twin 8 Plug-In at around NIS 230,000, and Lubinski, the MG importer, launching the competing S9 starting at NIS 190,000.

Compared to the luxury version, the new Noble edition retains identical dimensions (4.81 meters in length, 1.925 meters in width, 1.74 meters in height, and a 2.8-meter wheelbase). However, the shift from all-wheel drive to front-wheel drive eliminates the rear electric motor with 238 hp, leaving the 1,500 cc turbo gasoline engine and a pair of front electric motors with the same 3-speed automatic transmission. The combined output drops from 428 hp to 347 hp.

Performance: The top speed remains 180 km/h, but acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h slows from 5.4 to 8.9 seconds.

Electric: The switch from a 34 kWh battery to an 18.3 kWh unit reduces the official electric range from 148 km to 75 km, and the official fuel consumption drops from 200 km per liter to 58.8 km per liter.

Equipment: The Noble loses the brown artificial leather upholstery in favor of black leather and the leather trim on the steering wheel. The front seats lose the massage and ventilation functions, as well as the head-up display. The Sony stereo system now has 8 speakers instead of 14. However, the level of equipment remains high, with 20-inch alloy wheels, a 15.6-inch multimedia screen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, electrically adjustable front seats, wireless phone charging, a sunroof, an electric tailgate, and more.

Safety: The new base model lacks the child seat reminder system available in the fully equipped version and comes with 7 airbags instead of 10.
