With the relaxations announced this week by the Home Front Command, allowing car dealerships to operate, sales incentives are now also arriving to encourage purchases during the war. In all cases, you will need to present a certificate from the Property Tax Authority confirming total loss according to an appraiser's report.
NIS 30,000 Discount at BYD
Shlomo Motors, the BYD importer, announced a NIS 30,000 discount on all its new models sold in Israel for those whose old vehicles were totaled during Operation “Roaring Lion.” The discount applies to any car owner, not just existing BYD customers, but does not apply to brand-new 0 km cars sold directly by the importer. For example, the BYD Dolphin Surf electric car will cost NIS 85,000 after the discount. BYD customers whose cars were damaged will also receive a replacement vehicle until their new car arrives (up to 30 days). Customers whose cars were damaged in the war will receive a replacement car for the duration of repairs at any of the company’s authorized service centers.

Additionally, the same discount applies to those who buy a used car under the same circumstances from Colmobil Trade-In. The discount is in addition to existing promotions and is valid until April 30.
