Paz has begun installing ultra-fast 400 kW chargers at its fuel stations as part of the Paz Charge network. In Israel, only a few electric vehicles already support such charging speeds, such as the XPeng G9 and Zeekr 7X, which enable charging from 10% to 80% in about 15 minutes, adding around 150 km, and adding around 150 km of driving range in just five minutes.

In the first stage, these chargers have been installed at three stations: Hayona in Rishon Lezion (Shmotkin corner of Barshavsky), Silver Junction near Ashkelon, and at the entrance to Eilat. The pricing is identical to the rest of the network: NIS 2.75 per kWh, and NIS 2.60 in Eilat. Charging is done via the company’s app, with no credit card payment option at present. In the coming months, the company is expected to expand deployment to additional stations across the country.

Such charging speeds position Paz Charge as one of the fastest charging networks in the country: XPeng’s charging network currently has only one 600 kW station, and Tesla has begun deploying stations supporting 500 kW charging, but they do not yet offer such sustained speeds in practice. Chinese car manufacturers such as BYD and Geely are already deploying 1,000 kW stations in China, and BYD’s importer has promised to install one at its complex in Rishon Lezion. Most stations in Israel currently provide charging speeds of 180 to 250 kW, while older 50 kW chargers are gradually being upgraded by legacy networks.

Paz currently operates the largest fast-charging network in Israel, with 312 charging points as of March 2026 across 108 sites, an increase of more than 40% within a year, representing about 20% of all fast chargers in the country as of today. According to company reports, its electricity sales for vehicle charging jumped by 70% in one year, from 17 million kWh in 2024 to 28 million in 2025.
