West Bank protests in Ramallah 370(photo credit: REUTERS/Mohamad Torokman)ByJPOST.COM STAFFHundreds of Palestinians demonstrators blocked route 60 near Ofer Military Prison in the West Bank on Monday in a protest against the IDF Pillar of Defense operation in Gaza.Protesters managed to cut off 50 meters of the separation fence near Ofer Prison, according to Abir Kopty, the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee spokesperson. Israel Radio reported protesters were throwing stones.IDF troops and police were at the scene trying to disperse the crowds.Click for full JPost coverageThe protests marked the third day of demonstrations against the Gaza operation.On Sunday, protests took place in Hebron, Bethlehem, Nabulus and Jerusalem. At least six Palestinians were injured from tear gas and rubber bullets, activists said.On Saturday, a Palestinian man was injured in Nabi Saleh from a live bullet that hit him in the back, fired by IDF soldiers, activists said. The report could not be confirmed.Two paramedics were injured in a protest near Ofer Military Prison in Beitunya.
