Two rockets fell in Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council on Wednesday night following a Code Red rocket alert siren.
The IDF said one of the rockets hit a community in the region and the second rocket fell in an open area. No injuries were reported, but a home did sustain damage from shrapnel from the projectile.
Police were on their way to the scene.
Earlier in the week, Palestinian terrorists fired a salvo of rockets from Gaza at southern Israel. Two of the rockets were intercepted over the city of Ashkelon by an Iron Dome anti-rocket battery.
