WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama will host Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for a meeting on May 20, the White House said on Wednesday."The leaders look forward to discussing the full range of issues of mutual interest to the United States and Israel," the White House said in a statement.RELATED:'PM to surprise int'l community in Congress speech'Diplomacy: PM's speech to Congress... then and nowEarlier this month, Netanyahu acknowledged for the first time that he will deliver a speech to a joint session of the US Congress at the end of May in which he will lay out the principles of his government’s diplomatic and security policies.“Next month I will have the opportunity to present the principles of our diplomatic and security polices during my visit to the US,” Netanyahu said at a pre-Pessah Likud gathering in Tel Aviv.“I received an invitation to speak before a joint session of Congress from my friend Speaker of the House John Boehner, and I greatly appreciate this opportunity. It symbolizes the strong alliance between the American people, the American Congress and the American administration with Israel and the Jewish people.”
