The leaders of Spain, Italy and the UK found this out earlier and now it's Georgia's turn. While it is true that the Georgian leader took diplomatic skill to a new low, we underestimated GWB influence on an unstable leader in Georgia and we underestimated the resolve and strength of the Russians and their skill to very accurately calculate America's impotence in the region.
