Alan Dershowitz is a respected Harvard Law professor who has written best-selling books on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and apparently, a major “Curb Your Enthusiasm” fan. In an interview with the Columbia Current, a Jewish affairs journal published by Columbia University, the author of The Case for Israel said that he gave Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu a copy of the “Palestinian Chicken” episode of Larry David’s HBO comedy hit, and told him to watch it with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. “Maybe if they can both get a good laugh, they can begin a negotiating process,” Dershowitz said. “It may be that Larry David will not only win Emmys, but he may even qualify for the Nobel Peace Prize,” he joked.

What kind of wedding ceremony the two plan to have, and whether or not Hathaway plans to join the tribe remains to be seen.Schmooze favorite Jewish rapper Drake visited talk-show hostess Chelsea Handler (whose father is Jewish) last week to promote his new album “Take Care.” Drake pointed out that Matisyahu and Mac Miller, whose album Blue Slide Park hit number one on the Billboard charts last month, are all Jewish, and Handler asked: “Do you guys all hang out together at the temple?” The rapper responded: “We all sort of like reenact bar mitzvahs. We do very Jewish things together.”opening a Hebrew school, according to the New York Daily News. The basketball player is apparently discussing founding the school, “which would focus on teaching the [Hebrew] language and Jewish history,” the Daily News wrote. Stoudemire claims to keep Kosher, has visited Israel in the past, and discussed wanting to get in touch with his “Jewish roots.” He also dressed up as King Solomon for Halloween this year.Large families are not uncommon in Israel, but 19 kids may be a bit out of the ordinary. The Duggars, stars of reality show “19 Kids and Counting” (formerly “18 Kids and Counting,” and soon to be 20) visited the Holy Land while on a world tour last month.
