Text: It is a non-Jewish practice to commit suicide. Every respected Rabbi at the time and following Masada was against the Kana'im who committed suicide. The very word means FANATICS and also references their using knives. For the IDF to encourage NON-JEWISH VALUES among soldiers, really says something. Following the Yom Kippur war, instead of court-martialing the brass responsible, they went after lieutenants in Golani and non-comms on both fronts to COVER THEIR YOU KNOW WHAT. the IDF is capable of doing much better by these respectable men.
