Web site to provide genuine Viagra legally

Israelis can get it delivered to their homes, if they have a prescription.

In an effort to encourage men to buy genuine medications for erectile dysfunction (impotence) instead of counterfeit ones advertised on the Internet and in newspapers, Pfizer – the US company that makes Viagra (sildenafil citrate) – has arranged for its sale via a legal Israeli Internet pharmacy.
The blue pills will be delivered discreetly to the customer’s door within 48 hours of the order – by messenger in an unmarked package – upon presentation of the original prescription, thus eliminating the “embarrassment” that might be associated with buying it in an ordinary pharmacy. The cost (currently about NIS 60 per pill) will be the same.
However, the new arrangement between Pfizer-Israel and the Telepharma Internet pharmacy company does not eliminate the reluctance of men to ask a health fund physician to issue a prescription for an ED drug and enter it permanently into his health fund’s personal electronic medical record, after which any doctor who accesses his file will know he uses medication for erectile dysfunction.
Only if a customer goes to a private doctor will his Viagra use not appear in his official health fund medical record. ED drugs are regarded as safe except for men with contraindications, such as those with heart disease who take nitrites or nitrates or have serious kidney impairment or liver dysfunction; such men cannot get prescriptions for it or any other brand of ED medications.
Viagra can be ordered by entering Telepharma’s Web site at www.original-pill.co.il. One must fax or scan and e-mail the original prescription and make the order, and then present the prescription to the messenger, who takes it to be checked at Telepharma to ensure that it has not been changed in any way. The prescription is good for six months.
Dr. Zvi Shechner, a senior health fund urologist, told The Jerusalem Postthat that are many men with erectile dysfunction who do not go to adoctor for help. Of those who do go and receive a prescription, somedon’t go to a pharmacy because they are ashamed to ask for it.
