A Christian on-line broadcaster will be streaming live Easter services from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Sunday in an effort to connect believers around the globe to the Holy Land.
The unprecedented Web access to the Jerusalem holy site, which Christians traditionally hold to be the site of Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection, will be available free of charge on www.ipraytv.com.
"As soon as the technology became available, we've been working to help believers around the world share the experience of Israel and the Holy Sites," said Mike Peros, Founder and CEO of IPrayTV on Monday. "The ability to log in and connect to these sites year-round can enrich the way many people relate to their faith."
More than 30,000 people across the globe have viewed live Webcasts of a variety of Holy Land sites via the Internet broadcaster since its inception last year during Succot.
The Web site, which rose to prominence after its live streaming of Christmas in Bethlehem, has attracted Christians of various denominations, although the majority of its viewers are evangelical Christians.
IPrayTV offers live Webcasts of nine Holy Land sites, including the Mount of Olives.
