The Tourism Ministry has a new Web site aimed at creating a tourism community where users can ask questions and exchange travel tips, stories, videos and experiences. The ministry and the Israel Tour Guides Association will supply answers to the Web site's surfers within 48 hours, as well as responses to frequently-asked questions on travel in Israel. "The new Internet community will form the direct connection between the potential tourist and Israel's tourism sites and attractions, as well as constituting as another marketing platform," Tourism Ministry director-general Shaul Tzemach said Wednesday. In addition, the ministry has recently finished uploading information on 300 tourist attractions and 500 accommodation arrangements in Israel to the Google Earth virtual globe program, including maps, pictures, information and links about the sites.
