The forty-ninth Israeli Conference on Aerospace Sciences kicked off on Wednesday at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv.
The conference allows companies to showcase new developments in aeronautics and commercial and military aviation, and attracts lecturers and defense industry representatives from Israel and abroad.
One of the presentations, delivered by Professor Robert H. Liebeck of Boeing, will discuss
the development of a futuristic passenger in which the body and the wing are one entity.
Seventeen IAI representatives will speak at the conference, some of whom will discuss the development of IAI's Eitan (Heron TP) Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle, which is made entirely out of composite materials.
