Health Ministry warns against using unlicensed beauty products

Various beauty products sold by Royal Cosmetics Ltd. were found by the Health Ministry to have been produced and marketed illegally.

Various beauty products sold by Royal Cosmetics Ltd. were found by the Health Ministry to have been produced and marketed illegally, even though the packages were printed with the words “with a Health Ministry license.”
The ministry said on Wednesday its inspectors have no idea under what conditions the products were made and whether they are safe. In any case, the company has no license to manufacture and sell them, the ministry declared.
Inspectors made a surprise inspection at a store at 16 Shechtman Street in Netanya and examined the company’s website. The products are sold to the general public and to cosmeticians, the ministry said.
The products, which the ministry asked the public not to purchase, are: Spa & More butter peeling salts and gel; natural aloe vera gel; aromatic bath salts; antiseptic soap for manicures and pedicures; Royal butter mask treatment for soles of the feet with 60 percent and 95 percent alcohol; Royal hand cream treatment; Spa & More hand cream for dry and cracked skin; and Royal leg cream.
