1500 Thai working permits delayed due to coup

Following the coup in Thailand on Tuesday, the country has ceased to issue working permits for those wishing to work in Israel. Coordinator for Foreign Workers in Israel, Haim Hadar, said that "the government workers who are responsible for signing on working permit in Thailand never arrived to work, and our efforts to get in contact with them were not successful. As a result, working permits for about 1500 Thais have been delayed."
