Two more suspects were due in court Thursday charged over an alleged plot to bomb as many as 10 US-bound airliners with improvised explosives, British police said.
The men were among five people held in police custody for 28 days following raids in early August - the maximum time allowed under Britain's new anti-terrorism laws.
Three other suspects were released without charge on Wednesday, a spokeswoman for London's Metropolitan Police confirmed.
