Three people were killed Tuesday morning in a St. Petersburg car explosion, Russian news agencies said.
The cause of the blast was not immediately clear.
State-run RIA-Novosti cited city emergency officials as saying that two people died at the scene of the explosion, including a small child, and an injured victim died shortly afterward.
It said one other person was seriously hurt.
