Seismologists said that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake has shaken central Greece, but there have been no reports for injuries or serious damage.
The Athens Geodynamic Institute says the quake occurred at 10:27 a.m. (0827 GMT) Friday, 10 kilometers (6 miles) south of the city of Lamia, or 135 kilometers (85 miles) northwest of Athens.
The US Geological Survey reported the earthquake magnitude as 5.1.
