British police said Tuesday they arrested six more people over two violent demonstrations at the Israeli Embassy in London, after detaining 56 others earlier in the year.
Police are still searching for another 20 or so suspects believed to have been involved in the violence at both the Jan. 3 and Jan. 10 protests at the embassy.
The demonstrations had been called to protest Israel's three-week assault on the Gaza Strip, but clashes broke out with police as some demonstrators tried to breach police barricades and reach the Israel Embassy building.
The six arrested Tuesday were men in their teens and 20s, police said, without identifying them by name.
The BBC reported that one of the six was arrested at the west London home of extremist preacher Abu Hamza al-Masri, who is serving a seven-year sentence for inciting racial hatred and encouraging followers to kill non-Muslims. Al-Masri is also facing extradition to the United States, where he is accused of helping to set up a terrorist training camp.
