A small bomb placed inside a trash container exploded in a crowded area of Istanbul Thursday, injuring at least four people, police said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but police said they suspected the bomb was planted by Kurdish terrorists linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, which is fighting for autonomy in Turkey's southeast, a police official said.
