The British government is prepared to engage Hizbullah, Foreign Office Minister Bill Rammell announced on Wednesday.
Reuters reported the minister as telling a parliamentary committee that the act was being considered in light of "more positive developments within Lebanon."
If implemented, the government planned to begin talks with the group's political wing alone. A spokesman for the Foreign Office said that the British government would try to convince Hizbullah to "move away from violence."
