Bush calls India's prime minister to pledge solidarity

President George W. Bush called Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday and assured him Washington will provide all necessary support in the investigation of the Mumbai attacks. White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said Bush called Singh to say that he stands in solidarity with the Indian leader and the people of India. Johndroe said the president told Singh he had directed the US government to devote the necessary resources and personnel to the situation.
