The body of Omri Kidron, an Israeli who went missing in China in June, was identified on Monday. Kidron, a 23-year-old from Ramat Hasharon, slipped from a cliff into a dangerous river during a trek in the Yunnan province.
His body was discovered 10 days ago and transferred to a hospital in Beijing for the purpose of identification.
The Foreign Ministry announced that the Israeli embassy in China will handle the transfer of the body to Israel.
