Chinese police are hunting for a suspect after seven people were slain in a village in the southwest of the country, state media reported Tuesday.
The villagers were killed Sunday night in Jiekui village in Guizhou province, the official Xinhua News Agency said. It was not known how the villagers were killed, but police said they were murdered.
Police were looking for the suspect based on clues collected at the site, the report said.
