Clinton: US hopes to resume nuclear talks with North Korea

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Saturday said Washington hopes to resume talks with North Korea over its nuclear ambitions. Clinton said she was "very pleased" with strong UN action last week on North Korea, which was hit with new UN sanctions on three companies. But she said Washington hopes to resume dialogue with the communist nation. Clinton's comments Saturday during a stop in Baghdad came hours after North Korea announced it had reactivated facilities to harvest plutonium. The move is a key step away from a 2007 disarmament deal.
