The European Union needs to learn from US President-elect Barack Obama how to sell its vision of the future, EU Enterprise Commissioner Guenter Verheugen said Friday.
"We have a tendency to deliver our policies and to present our strategies in a language that is perhaps a little too technical, sometimes even boring," he said during a press conference in Paris.
Obama, who will take over from US President George W. Bush on January 20, "has a capacity to present his policy as a real vision, which fascinates people," he said.
