First suspected swine flu case in mainland China

China's Health Ministry has reported the first suspected case of swine flu on the mainland. The ministry said Sunday that the patient is a 30-year-old Chinese man surnamed Bao who had returned on Saturday to Chengdu, the capital of southwestern Sichuan province, from the United States where he is attending a university. The ministry said Bao took a flight from Tokyo and arrived in Beijing on Saturday. He flew onward from Beijing to Chengdu the same day.
