Iranian state television announced on Sunday that the government plans to impose sanctions on any foreign companies dealing with Israel.
The report stated that the government approved the outlines of a bill under which foreign companies will face punitive measures or sanctions by Iran if if they seek any deals with Israel.
The report did not elaborate.
The bill requires ratification by the Iranian parliament to become a law.
