Japan will not discuss developing nuclear weapons in response to North Korea's claim of an atomic test last week, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Monday. "There is no change in our policy of adhering to Japan's three non-nuclear principles," Abe told reporters Monday, referring to the country's policy of not possessing, producing or allowing the introduction of nuclear weapons into Japan. "The government will not discuss" the nuclear option, he said.
