An Indian navy spokesman says officials are investigating an abandoned trawler found carrying a corpse near the coast of Mumbai. Captain Manohar Nambiar said the trawler was found Thursday drifting 15-20 miles off the coast of Mumbai. He said a corpse was on board. The navy brought the ship to Mumbai and is investigating whether it was used in the siege that left at least 195 dead across Mumbai. Local media say the gunmen hijacked the trawler, which sailed from Karachi, Pakistan. Television news reports show a corpse face down on the boat's deck with his hands tied behind his back. Reports say the man was the ship's skipper. That could not be immediately confirmed.
