Obama saddened by Holocaust Museum shooting

US President Barack Obama was saddened by Wednesday's shooting at the US Holocaust Museum near the White House and is concerned about a guard who appears to have been injured. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said he told Obama about the shooting. Gibbs later told reporters he gave Obama the facts as they were known at the time, shortly after shots were fired. Gibbs says the White House was receiving regular updates from the FBI, Homeland Security Council and the Situation Room.
