A Delta commuter plane with 50 passengers aboard crashed near Lexington, Kentucky at about 7:00 a.m. ET, CNN reported.
The FAA said the plane crashed shortly after takeoff about a mile from Lexington's Blue Grass Airport.
It is not yet known if there are survivors, officials said.
