Jamaican police say four people were killed and four others injured when gunmen showered the dance floor of a crowded Montego Bay nightclub with bullets.
Police Superintendent Maurice Robinson says five gunmen entered the club early Sunday and randomly fired at patrons, who dove for cover.
Detectives believe the violence is gang-related, perhaps triggered by an altercation between rival gang members. There have been no arrests.
The violence took place in the troubled Norwood section of the resort city, where all-inclusive hotels on the beach cater to spring break revelers and cruise ship passengers.
