Two buses collided head-on in southern Bangladesh killing 11 people and injuring dozens, according to a news report Thursday.
The United News of Bangladesh news agency said the accident occurred in Bagerhat district, 85 miles (136 kilometers) south of the capital Dhaka.
Nine people died instantly and another two died on the way to a hospital. About 50 injured people were been taken to hospitals.
The report cited unidentified police officers.
