A Turkish news agency says a woman detonated a small bomb in a university hall in what authorities believe was an attack on a former justice minister. No one was injured.
Citing unidentified officials, the state-run Anatolia agency says the incident occurred at Bilkent University in Ankara, the Turkish capital.
The agency says former Justice Minister Hikmet Sami Turk was preparing to give a lecture when the bomb exploded Wednesday. His bodyguards overpowered the suspect and the lecture hall was evacuated.
