Three Israeli diplomats physically assaulted an immigration officer at the main international airport in New Delhi, according to a report in The Times of India.The junior-level emissaries reportedly “slapped and roughed up” the airport official whom they perceived as taking too long to permit them through the gate. The Israelis were headed to Nepal on a diplomatic mission.According to The Times of India, the three Israeli diplomatic personnel were questioned by local police and released. Since they benefit from diplomatic immunity, authorities could not arrest them.
