Rice: US supports Egyptian-French cease-fire initiative in Gaza

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday that the United States is supporting the Egyptian-French cease-fire initiative in Gaza.
The UN Security Council had closed consultations to discuss possible action.
