US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday that the United States would work to implement the road map plan, including the establishment of a Palestinian state, if Hamas were willing to accept the demands of the West.
If, however, Hamas continues to call for the destruction of Israel, Rice reiterated, the US would not assist the PA.
