'Saudi hacker who targeted Jewish sites dies at 28'

A Saudi hacker who targeted Jewish and Israeli websites passed away from an asthma attack at the young age of 28, the UAE's Al-Bayan reported Saturday.Dedicating himself to the "defense of Islam and the Prophet," the hacker had struck well-protected sites such as Kaspersky and Microsoft, in addition to numerous Jewish sites, banks and major companies, according to the report.Going by the code name "Cyber Terrorist," the hacker also attacked a site belonging to the Danish cartoonists who drew cartoons of the Muslim prophet Mohammed.The hacker also reportedly rejected a lucrative job offer from a company because it had Jewish ownership.Earlier this year, a Saudi hacker going by the name "OxOmar" infiltrated a number of Israeli websites, stealing and exposing the personal information and credit card numbers of thousands of Israeli citizens. The move ignited a hacking war between pro- and anti- Israel hackers.
