Tanzanian official: At least fifteen killed in train crash

A train crash in central Tanzania has killed at least 15 people and other bodies may be trapped inside the wreckage, an official said on Sunday. Regional Commissioner William Lukuvi said a stationary passenger train was hit by a cargo train in the town of Dodoma at around midday Sunday. The track has been shut down and cranes have been ordered to move the wreckage and retrieve bodies that are still trapped inside. Wounded passengers have been taken to a hospital and an investigation has begun into the crash, Lukuvi said.
